How it works

How a VR project with me runs

  1. 1

    Share your project

Send a short brief: what you want to train or build, the target headset and your timeline.

  2. 2

    Scope and quote

I reply with questions, a technical approach and a quote split into milestones.

  3. 3

    Build in milestones

You review a playable build at each milestone, and your feedback goes into the next one.

  4. 4

    Delivery

You receive the final build and the project files agreed in our contract.

Why me

Why companies hire me for VR

Enterprise VR training experience

Since 2023 I've built VR trainers for aviation and warehouse operations as Senior Unity Developer at IDRAK AI.

Built for standalone headsets

Scenes tuned for Quest with GPU instancing, occlusion culling and profiling — not left to the end.

Natural interaction

Hand-gesture recognition, physics-based grabbing and body tracking in trainers I've delivered.

You work with the developer

No account managers or hand-offs — you talk directly to the person writing the code.

Multiplayer when you need it

Shared sessions with Photon PUN 2 and Unity Netcode for team training and co-op apps.

FAQ

Questions clients ask

What does a VR training simulation cost?

It depends on scope: the number of tasks and scenarios, the kind of interaction, the target headsets and whether you need multi-user sessions. Send a brief and I'll reply with a quote split into milestones.

Which headsets do you develop for?

Meta Quest as a standalone headset using OpenXR and the Oculus SDK, PC VR through OpenXR and SteamVR, and WebXR for browser-based experiences.

Can you optimize my existing Unity VR project?

Yes. I profile the project to find whether CPU, GPU or memory is the bottleneck, then fix it — for example with GPU instancing, occlusion culling, Addressables and lighter assets.

Can you build multi-user VR training?

Yes, with Photon PUN 2 or Unity Netcode and Relay, so trainees can share one scene in real time.

Can you turn our Revit or CAD models into VR?

Yes. I've brought Revit architectural models into Unity and optimized them for Oculus Quest so people can walk through a space at real scale.

Do you build mixed reality apps for Meta Quest?

Yes. Mixed reality apps that blend passthrough with virtual content are part of my Meta Quest work. Tell me which features you need so we can confirm the approach during scoping. Mixed reality on Quest.

Can we start with a small VR prototype?

Yes. A prototype of the core interaction on your target headset is often the best first milestone — it tests the idea before you commit to a full build.

Do you work with international clients?

Yes, remotely, with teams in other countries and time zones. I'm based in Islamabad, Pakistan (UTC+5), work in English and use Git and Jira for shared work. Scope, milestones and payment terms are agreed before work starts.

Are you open to full-time roles?

Yes. I'm open to remote full-time and contract roles as a Unity XR / VR developer. See my experience.
